Angel Investing 101
December 5, 2019 | 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Ever wonder what it’s like to be one of the “Sharks” on the Shark Tank TV show and invest in bright entrepreneurs and innovators building the next great startup company in your region?
Ok, in this case we are “Guppies,” but still, it’s fun to see entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas, learn about the exciting new products being developed in Oregon, and discover the connected network of hundreds of individual “angels” and several funds in Oregon that exist to help accelerate success for Oregon startups.
Oregon RAIN’s executive director, entrepreneur, and angel investor, Caroline Cummings, will present a free workshop where you will learn about what an Angel Investor is, what the network of Angels looks like in Oregon, the ins and outs of identifying a good startup team, the pros and cons of being an Angel Investor, how returns work, and how this world of angel investing works in Oregon.
Beer/wine and delicious food will be served.
Registration via EventBrite is required:
The information presented here and in this workshop is for informational and educational purposes only and no offer or solicitation for the sale or purchase of any securities will be made.
